i think that was the program that made me notice them, especially her. i now remember having to sit up and watch them initially because of the music (always loved that one ever since the israeli dance team did a FD to it in 2000), but then she drew me in more as they progressed through the program. she was just riveting to watch!

Oh wow, they've really updated the roster! I wasn't going to attend but now I'm rethinking it.

yes from cos thornhill...did you watch the streaming....just amazing.

I saw their LP on the live streaming and am very excited to see it develop. I only saw a fan cam of their SP, so I can't wait to see an up close version of it. Here's a couple of pics from it. I like the expression very much so far.

ITA ...their performances were both so beautiful, smooth and dreamy. There was weirdness in the judging-especially german judge and of course all the PCS were based on Alliona not Bruno but it does not matter so much at this competition as they would still have been 2nd at this point anyways and were quite a bit ahead of 3rd place team.

Here's an exhibition from 2006 U.S. Nationals by Marcy Hinzmann/ Aaron Parchem. I'm posting it here because there is a move that I think Luba and Dylan would look good performing:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6uKJkiNSRo Exhibition U.S. Nats 2006
@3:30 Parchem goes into a straight glide on one foot with his body and other leg parallel to the ice while holding onto Marcy who is in an arabesque. Such a lovely move for pairs of today to experiment with. I can see Luba and Dylan trying this move :)

ETA:
And maybe they've already tried something similar, if I'm not mistaken.

:cheer2: :cheer2: Beautiful triple toe by Luba!! I love how she was rubbing his back as they were getting off the ice. I think he was :duh: at stepping out of the toe.

Here's hoping for a great LP tomorrow!!

Awww, she finally did a nice triple (looked like a salchow to me for some reason, even though the protocols say toe) and he missed it. But what blows my mind is how much their twist has improved.
