I've missed this Einaudi FD. The Timberlake maybe a little less but it's fine, too.

I really hope they aren't denied another Olympic entry. It would be so terribly unfair to them and they're my favorite Russian dance team.

She did. And, I noticed that. It's taken a toll on these young, fit athletes.

She had it back in October, then he had it a bit later - his was a rather serious one, with partial lung damage (same for Vika Sinitsina)

S/A, this was probably my least favorite so far in this last group (I do like the Bonnie/Clyde RD though). Fine but nothing special. She, too, had a little twizzle mistake in the first set - missed a rotation. Scores will probably be close.

It is so hard to make a mistake, know it can impact your results, and still have to finish the program. Bless her. But, it looks like they'll medal anyway so that will probably help her angst.

I can only imagine T/J's preskate pep talk: Just skate clean. That's all we have to do to survive.

Congrats to Stepanova/Bukin on winning gold, Zahorski/Guerrero on a redemption season, and Scoptova/Aleshin on winning bronze. I appreciate when the junior teams stick together and continue to get better. S/A have deep edges and neat feet, and it's nice to see their hard work pay off.

With their just recent 120 free dance score (and their coach help) I'm sure they will climb some places in the final standings

I think you were unrealistically optimistic. No one can make up so many points. They ended up 6th here and with Sin/Kats not competing here and everyone considering them as the Russian dancers number one, that makes Morozov/Bagin dancers number 7. Which means they very likely won’t get to the national team, as I guessed. There is only six spots on the team and I can’t see why would the federation want to withdraw the funding from the European champions.
