2018 Dance-Pairs Chicago, Aug. 10-12

Apparently Dance-Pairs Chicago is this weekend. I don't know if we will be fortunate enough to get any videos as we did last year, but here is a place to put them if we do.

(It looks like team Shpilband/Camerlengo have their teams signed up, including Carreira & Ponomarenko, Tweedale & Buckland, Nguyen & Kolesnik, Wolkostin & Zhao, etc. C&P didn't skate their RD at Skate Detroit, but I think it looks like they will compete one here).

"The tickets for this year’s event are $5 per person for Saturday and Sunday and may be purchased at the door. Friday is free."

Karina Manta/Joseph Johnson are also registered in Senior (first competition of their season), along with Carreira/Ponomarenko and Tweedale/Buckland (GBR).
Two new teams are Nicole Kelly/Berk Akalin (TUR)-Rhythm Dance only and Alannah Binotto/Shiloh Judd (eta: he competed in singles up to Junior and is new to dance, she's been a solo ice dancer).

Junior teams include 5 in the ISP (first 3 already have JGP assignments): Nguyen/Kolesnik, DelCamp/Gart, Elder/Elder, Efimova/Petrov, Wolfkostin/Zhao.
Also: Purnell/Purnell, Brylakova/Brylakov, Rose/Michel, and the 5 new teams of Cesanek/Yehorov, Tsoi/Wang, Melton/O'Donnell, Ella Ales/Daniel Tsarik, and Rhythm Dance only for Mira Polishook/Deividas Kizala (LTU).

Only a few pairs in Junior: Lockley/Prochnow and Martins/Bedard (this is their home rink) plus DeWyre/Nussle.

ETA: @Dobre, it looks like Layla Grace Karnes has a new partner in Novice named Kirill Aksenov.

NEVER too early to uber a dance team with great expression and musicality! Avonlea Nugyen (junior) is another one to keep your eye on.
