"Tonight [May 25, 2023 in Orlando, FL] the Professional Skaters Association (PSA) presented their annual EDI awards and Hall of Fame Inductees.
SCNY coach member, Jenni Meno Sand and Todd Sand (LAFSC) were inducted into the PSA Hall of Fame. In addition they won the Coach of the Year award alongside their team. They won the trifecta when they were awarded the Betty Berens award for overcoming challenges.
Finally, SCNY President and US Figure Skating ISU Representative [Troy Goldstein] won the Distinguished Official of the Year Award." - from the Skating Club of New York's FB post: https://www.facebook.com/thescny.or...knhV8buNb3uKjV2QAEvgpYRZBZcGdL1qj5wAMwJ3kPknl

PSA/USFS Developmental Coach of the Year was a TIE (first time ever) between the Pottenger Academy team (Chris Pottenger, Alan Medina, Tiffany Chin, Caroline Zhang, Russ Scott, Anthony Evans pictured last night: https://www.instagram.com/p/CssPAYZudpP/) and Darin Hosier & Corrie Martin per Audrey Weisiger's Instagram post (she coached Hosier): https://www.instagram.com/p/CssA6gZrMs7/

I was told Rohene Ward won the Paul McGrath Choreographer of the Year award (for the 4th time).

(If/when I see a complete list of EDI award winners from last night I will post a link.)

PSA's annual Best Performance Award winners for each discipline at the 2023 U.S. Figure Skating Championships in San Jose, CA were made public during USFS' Governing Council meeting earlier this month, but I haven't seen a public link anywhere yet (PSA's website is not updated):

Isabeau Levito (FS choreographed by her coach Yulia Kuznetsova)
Jason Brown (SP choreo. by Rohene Ward)
Alexa Knierim/Brandon Frazier (FS choreo. by Sinead & John Kerr)
Madison Chock/Evan Bates (FD choreo. by Marie-France Dubreuil, Ginette Cournoyer, Samuel Chouinard)

... and Haydenettes for synchro (FS at Nationals in Peoria, IL; choreo. by their coach, Saga Krantz).

Congratulations Troy Goldstein. In 1993 (30 years ago) I attended my second US Nationals. At the Phoenix, AZ event, Troy competed in four Senior events: (Men and Figures plus Pairs and Dance with sister Dawn). I thought that was SOP and kept checking my program for others to follow. I quickly learned it was unusual. It’s an early skating memory I cherish and always chuckle at my naivety when I see his name on the technical list. So glad to see all your continued contributions to figure skating.

What a nice personal memory for you, @azcalder! :)

Troy reminisced about his competitive career for a great Oct 2021 profile on the USFS site, which also covered his extensive commitment to skating to this day (and his professional success outside of the sport). Some excerpts:

"In 1992 and 1993, Troy Goldstein became the one and only skater to ever compete in four senior/championship events at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships®. For those weeks, he juggled an insane schedule between pairs and ice dance with sister Dawn, men’s singles and men’s figures. Fellow skater Todd Sand dubbed it the Troyathlon. People even had signs made in 1993 celebrating the return of the Troyathlon."
"Through his career he has rung the bell at both the NASDAQ and the NYSE, and he is an ISU technical specialist in singles and pairs, treasurer of U.S. Figure Skating and president of The Skating Club of New York, which represents his 21st century version of the Troyathlon."
"Goldstein was a technical specialist at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, and he will serve in the capacity again in February at the Games in Beijing. In August, he attended Champs Camp as a technical specialist and then officiated at the John Nicks International Pairs Challenge hosted by his home club."
"Amazingly, Goldstein was attending college and law school full-time while pursuing the Troyathlon and then professional skating."
" “It’s an honor to be able to give back to the sport that gave me so much,” he said. “[Being treasurer] is a way to combine my business acumen and my skating understanding for the betterment of the association. … I hope to serve as president at some point.
“Being a technical specialist allows me to use my brain, my experience and my understanding of the sport — whether it’s in the Olympic Games or a local nonqualifying event — to provide fair officiating,” he continued. “Being part of a skater’s progress — that’s really special. There are so many officials who were part of my growth as a skater and as a person that I have tried to be part of the group taking the torch and paying it forward.” "

Jenni now has written a lovely post about the three different PSA honors for Todd and herself.
Within it, she spells out the full group for Coach of the Year:
" .... Our coaching team of Todd, myself, Christine and Chris were awarded the 2023 Coach of the Year Award. ..."
First award for Chris Knierim. Todd, Jenni, and Christine Fowler-Binder previously won Coach of the Year together in 2020 (final season of Chris and Alexa's partnership).

I'm happy that Mari Malama was nominated for the 2023 Paul McGrath Choreographer of the Year award (for Samuel Mindra's contrasting programs, I assume; his "Earthquake" SP was one of my favorite programs of the season!) according to axisoniceofficial's post+video: https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cs0NwRKgKg8/

Others nomianted: Yulia Kuznetsova; Corrie Martin (Lucas Broussard's longtime choreographer); Charlie White, Tanith White, Greg Zuerlein; Marie-France Dubeuil, Massimo Scali, Kaitlin Hawayek, Jean-Luc Baker. :)

ETA:
I was told Rohene Ward won the Paul McGrath Choreographer of the Year award (for the 4th time).
I originally posted Rohene's PSA thank yous/photos in his appreciation thread: https://www.instagram.com/p/Csufj6KLjhv/
What can I say other than I am extremely humbled and honored to have won the Paul McGrath Choreographer of the Year award, and the INSPIRE AWARD which was even more special because of what it signifies. Thank you to PSA for these incredible honors!!!
