In Narita Air Port in June 20th, after returning to Japan from Canada where she had been to for making the new program, Mao Asada (19, Chukyo University) of Vancouver Olympics silver medalist had the interview and revealed that she is learning jumps from Hiroshi Nagakubo coach who grew Shizuka Arakawa of Turin Olympics winner from this month. But, he is the designated coach only for jumps and the coach to succeed Tatiana Tarasova seems not to be decided yet.

As for the music for next season, it was decided that the music for SP is “Tango” by Alfred Schnittke and the music for FS is “Liebestraum” by Franz Listz. As for the FS which Lori Nichol choreographed, Asada said, "It contains the movement like being falling in love with one male. I think that I can express my own of the present time by this music."

By the rule revision of International Skating Union (ISU), she is going to try to the high difficult constitution which she put the single triple Axel and Two consecutive triple jump combination as for the short program.

This is exciting news. I think Mao and Lori are a great partnership and Liebestraum should be great for them.

Good choices, much better than last season. Libestraum is overused, but I'm looking forward to Mao's version of it. The tango music the LuckyCharm linked is really cool, but I do prefer the version floskate linked. I hope the choreography lives up the music choices.

When is Mao going to premiere her new exhibition? The Ice? That's in July, right?

There's some speculation as to which Alfred Schnittke tango she'll be using. This one is far more skate friendly than the other and seems more 'Mao' to me. I'm hoping it's this:
