I'm baffled as to why Mo Farah wants to run a marathon.
To think that fun is simple fun, while earnest things are earnest, proves all too plain that neither one thou truthfully discernest.

I think he is/was considering moving into marathon running after London 2012 - commentators just remarked that they would prefer him to stay at 10,000 meters for Rio 2016. Record breaking win for Wilson Kipsang

Well, Mo didn't beat the GB record but did finish inside the English record. Not bad at all for a first time marathon

He wants to run more marathons as he's disappointed with his performance here.

Hope this doesn't knock his confidence. Great time for a first marathon, but he didn't look very satisfied.
