Looks like the back of Brent Bommentre to me. Thanks very much for sharing your photos!

Gorgeous pics, RD, as usual! Thanks so much!

Can anyone identify the music that Max is skating to in his SOI appearances?

Oh my god my level of mixed emotions right now.

FIRST: Yay Max! Max dancing and getting his groove on and being generally wonderful!

SECOND: OH MY GOD NO ONE DIRECTION MAX WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY MY SOUL IS CRYING

Third: *sigh* Max has only been on the tour for a tiny handful of shows and already there are fancams. I love Max and wanted to see but...

I really enjoy Max's performance ability. I really hope he starts getting better performance/interpretation scores, because I just don't see him as just a jumper. This experience can only help him open up more in competitions.

    Max is so much fun.

But apparently he is the wrong kind of fun for some snobs.

Thanks again, RD. I posted your photos link in the Davis/White thread and here's a positive comment from there:

At Sylvia's nudging, I'm posting my (long) review of SOI, Portland. You don't need a Live Journal account to read it, but you do need to click on the button confirming you're at least 18. (I have an adult content warning on my LJ because of my frequent use of four-letter words ) Thanks, Sylvia, for identifying Castelli/ Snapir's music (and to TanithandBenFan for identifying Max's music).

ETA: There's a lot of "context" material in this post that hard-core skating fans wouldn't really need, but I have LJ friends who don't follow the sport. I probably over-explain things as a result.

Thanks for the review, EA Week.

But I must say it's starting to grate on me the number of people complaining about Max getting some shows and Jason taking some time off.
