Lots of photos and videos!! I took video of two small parts of Josh's program I wish I'd captured his Ina Bauer on video. It was gorgeous!

Oh, I'm so happy that you had a blast and got to meet the skaters! And THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU for those two snippets of Josh's program. Even just those two snips had me ! He looks so mature and polished, every movement deliberate and extended.

And you will be glad to know that Josh said in one of his interviews (I will track it down eventually) that he was hoping to do a more upbeat short program this year.

I do think he would benefit greatly from a stylist who knows how to deal with short legs and a long torso (his competition black/white unitard with the drop waists, which might actually be his natural waist, wasn't flattering. The all black was great). Maybe higher waisted pants that blend with the skates? Or maybe he'd just look goofy like he was trying to be Adam Rippon. He needs to be himself... but yeah, the rolled up cuffs made his legs look extremely short.
Max is Max = athletic, a bit cheeky, energetic. He's not my favorite skater--I think he lacks a lot of refinement--but I think he does well with the abilities he has. And yeah, I thought four jumps was a lot for a little 2-minute show program. Given that his jumps are generally pretty strong, I think this was a good choice.

Ah, thankyou His cheeky adorable grin at the start of your video had me hook, line and sinker!

I must be in the minority, but I like Max's jeans (though I too wish he wouldn't turn the cuffs up - but maybe they're skinny jeans and they won't go over the ankles of his boots?). He can wear 'em as long as he wants...if the seams hold together.

Does anyone have all the dates and locations for the tour, the ones that have passed are (quite naturally) no longer on the SOI website.

Hmm, found it. Always the way as soon as you ask.

Found another fancam of Max's solo on Youtube! Slightly rubbish quality but pretty much the full program bar the first couple of seconds.

    He's so cute rocking out.

Does anybody happen to have the videos from the Chicago show? I am loving being able to see everyone's performances without having to pay ticket prices

Jason has a new fan after this weekend's show in Chicago as my sister couldn't get over how adorable and exciting he is on the ice, and I told her that she now understands why I have gone completely bonkers over him. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I am beginning to warm up to Josh Farris. I loved him in the Men's group number and really liked his exhibition number. Anyone who can perform a skid spiral as well as he does it, has my respect.

Ryan Bradley is still as fun as ever. It didn't matter that he fell really hard on one of his jumps...he got up dusted himself off and made me like him even more than normal. If only he had the skating skills of Jason Brown, he could have ruled the world!

Other than the usual suspects (Meryl and Charlie) Navarro and Bommentre were also really good. They have grown into a wonderful dance team. I liked them when they competed, but now it seems that with maturity they have learned to max their potential.

Jeremy Abbott, sigh...My sister and I love his movements and musicality. It's amazing how much power and speed he generates with just a couple of strokes of his blades. If only he wasn't in his own head so much. Still love watching him skate however.

    Thanks, scarletbloom!

Re-posting from the Joshua Farris fan thread... justastori's Tumblr video of his "To Build a Home" solo.

ETA: Busy 3-day California weekend ahead! San Diego on Friday, Anaheim on Saturday, and San Jose on Sunday. There's a SOI publicity article in the Orange County Register but you have to be a subscriber to access it.

This tweeted photo by Meryl Davis last night made me laugh: "When there's chocolate in the locker room..." http://pic.twitter.com/1ThN7PYg5S

Jason Brown tweeted this SOI bus photo of him, Josh, Ashley, Mirai, Ryan and Polina: http://pic.twitter.com/MzlTjbdz1A

Thanks Sylvia. Those are really cute. I love when Jason is with the SOI tour. I think out of all the cast he tweets and posts on Instagram the most behind the scenes photos.

OT, Joshua should do a LP based on the style he is showing here.
