The gala is supposed to on Saturday 10:30pm Sochi time, but I didn't see it scheduled in the NBC olympics website. Does this mean they won't broadcast it live or show highlights during primetime?
Charlie reacts to them being mentioned in the “Colbert Report”.

I could be quite wrong (and often am), but it seems like a lot of the quotes from Us' article about DWTS are the ones from the pre-Olympics media coverage. I'm certain I've seen a couple of those before. Which isn't to say they won't do DWTS, but I don't know that there have been any new developments on that front since they won. I think the situation there is probably about the same one it was before they left for Sochi, just sort of playfully thinking about it without anyone having actually given it much serious thought. If they do get an offer to do the show, I think they'd really have to think about it-I doubt they've given it any serious consideration at this point. As others have said, it's a pretty big commitment.

Hope that works; never tried posting a link before!
While selfishly I would love to see them on DWTS for about a million reasons, I can imagine that they would like to go to Worlds or just devote themselves to the tour.
After reading the latest Moms article, I am so looking forward (in the not so distant future) to seeing them proud and beaming in their caps and gowns.
Well, as a non-American, I would MUCH prefer them to go to Worlds than do DWTS. Besides, they will have their whole lives to do TV shows, skating shows and other things. And Worlds might be their last opportunity to actually be competitve athletes.
Also, gotta say all the Adelina vs Yuna outrage actually pleases me, as it takes the skating controversy speculations off Meryl and Charlie's win.
Thanks for the Ryan Seacrest link. It was a good interview. Watched the Moms commercial again. Teared up again. Seriously, Pass the Puffs.
When Evan did DWTS, his partner Anna flew to Vancouver to meet him. So if any DWTS pros start tweeting from Russia, we will know what's up.
Mia Joy, if they are on the show, we ill make sure there are plenty of videos to share.
I would love to see them on because there would be so much rehearsal footage, and we would get a real glance at their work process.

The U.S. has won 27 medals. Only two athletes have multiple medals -- Meryl Davis and Charlie White.
I'm going to twizzle into a triple axel and spiral out of it.
Interview with Parade Magazine:
I LOVE Charlie's response to the question about pet peeves!!
Charlie: “I don’t really have any pet peeves and that’s probably what helps our partnership … we’re such great friends. But if I had to say one thing, it’s kind of funny, but she does really love puppies. And sometimes when we’re having a serious conversation – she’ll hold up a picture of a really cute puppy and it helps break up the tension that can come up in training.”
Get that girl a puppy!!
I wonder if she was thinking more about wanting that gold medal or about getting a puppy after the Olympics in the lead up to Sochi. it's hard to tell at this point.
But that's a really cute, funny way to diffuse any tension that might arise in practice.
I love that she has pictures of puppies ready to go at a moment's notice. Meryl Davis, the Human Tumblr.

Can Meryl get any more adorable? Worlds and DWTS might be up in the air, but one thing is for sure: that girl is getting herself a puppy
