    Southland. I adore Regina King.

Naomi or Tyra? Pick one, even if you hate them both.

Good choice. My appreciation curve for her gentle, understated gymnastics has increased with time.

Only if it's a protein shaked in water. Yeah, I know...I'm trying to get into my fighting weight.

Fave 2nd place Short Program at the Olympics:
Nancy Kerrigan Paradise, The Master Albertville 1992 (the debut of Yellow....it has come stomping back in style and this time not so mellow Was Team Nancy ahead of its time?? )
Oksana Baiul, Swan Lake Lilehammer 1994 The origin of my fanhood. At the time her "Biellmans" (as I remembered them anyway) captivated me and swiftly propelled my interest in developing my flexibility, which has become a life long hobby. Just call me Gumby Siouxs)
Tara Lipinski, Anastasia Nagano 1998 (The Disney Cage fighter)
Irina Slutskaya Serenade Salt Lake City 2002 (the grace of power. Where did those knees go the following night? )
Irina Slutskaya Totentanz (I have to be honest. One of my least favorite Olympic performances. Every ungraceful, unbecoming flaw of COP magnified on skatings largest stage. Just LOVELY. Liked the starting pose though)
Mao Asada Masquerade Waltz Vancouver 2010 (The stadium became a ball room for those 2:30 minutes. One can almost see confetti fall.)
Adelina Sotnikova 2014 Sochi (Carmen and the Flesh Eating Virus.)

Oksana Baiul, Swan Lake. It is hard to beat it, even the first ranked programs of every games. (and I personally think it is outrageous that Adelina's is being put en par with that list of the greatest performances.)

    Sounds hideous.

Fave 3nd place Short Program at the Olympics:
Surya Bonaly "Zorba the Greek" 1992 Certainly a sight to behold, for more than one reason. The costume was among the most of all time but the skating level was so novice. And that this foiled Midori's chances at Gold.
Surya Bonaly "Cries of Beirut" 1994 One of her most watchable performances and most stunning looks Yellow and gold succeeded triumphantly, as did her sass and divaconfidence
Maria Butyrskaya 1998 "Fever" Skated first but the womyn sexiness and outstanding execution held up
Sasha Cohen 2002 "My Sweet and Tender Beast" A favorite musical choice of mine (composed by Doga of Moldovan SSR). A new standard in line, extension, and Barbara Streisandism
Shizuka Arakawa 2006 "Fantasie Impromptu" From the same country that brought us Akira and Tetsuo the Iron Man, comes this terrifying Post-war Poltergeist armed with sumptuous skating and a damn shiny collar.
Joannie Rochette 2010 "La Cumparasita" It's a quadrennium later and I still have no words....
Carolina Kostner 2014 "Ave Maria" Boundless, generous, love. I believe she chose the music for the same reasons Fumie did. The Guanyin of skating.
