Yes, we Canadians may be knowlegeable but I dont think people realize their quality. Too many focus on Patrick missing a jump for example instead of seeing the rest of his skating.

Looks like Patrick managed to squeeze in a lot more assignments when he was in Vancouver. A photography session? He's looking formal in suite. The photographer and model smiling very alike.

Jeremy Ten 'broke' into Patrick's room when Patrick was in town.

Ian Hanomansing talks to Olympic Silver Medallist Patrick Chan about life after Sochi.

spiky, I get the instagram Log In page when I click on your links instead of getting the photos and I am not on instagram. Maybe others aren't registered to that site either.

Perhaps the people you are talking about will be more appreciative of Patrick's effortless quality in retrospect, Emdee. Sometimes we don't know what we have until we lose it. Patrick changed the face of figure skating. He is an inspiration to many young skaters - whether they would admit it or not - and that's a huge compliment IMO. It's also a huge compliment to Canadian skaters that fans of the sport from other countries would travel long distances to see them perform in Stars on Ice although they have their own champions at home.

    From the tour.

Bye for now, Patrick. If I am not mistaken, Patrick will make his next appearances on the ice at Detroit Skating Club in June and then in a sort of variety show in fall.

Oh, before I forget, don't know if you've seen him skate The Walker at Japanese Stars on Ice earlier this year. Here is the link just in case you haven't.

Who are all the skaters in the Japanese version? I recognize Patrick, Jeff, Javier and I am not sure about the other two.

Ooops.... Here's the pix of photographer and Patrick, and this one is in black and white. Looking cool. I will correct the link above too.

I haven't travelled to Canada yet to see CSOI or life skating. Hoping to do so in 2015. It's a fair distance .. the shortest flight being 25 hours+ but it's in my bucket list. I am afraid if I wait any longer, I won't be able to see Patrick, Kurt and V&M skate in real life anymore. I don't know how long they will stay on in show skating. Pani, if you are reading this, any chance of seeing you at CSOI 2015?

VarBar, it is so true. We tend to take many things close to us and what we have in abundance for granted until we lose them. It is when we lost that we found. Sometimes, it is too late.

Found this burpee vid of Patrick.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that your dream comes true, spiky. I would expect 2015 SOI to be something extra special because they'll be celebrating 25 years of Stars on Ice in Canada...and maybe 30 years of SOI in US? Patrick and Virtue/Moir most likely will skate in CSOI for many more years to come if this tour doesn't die but Kurt might want to retire after next year.

Patrick has been added to 'The Ice' tour in Japan: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/show...a-(July-19-27)

This is what I like most in Best of Me. Every movement matches the music.

Oh dear me... what sort of eye wear were the boys wearing? Patrick looks like a 'fly' as in fly with big eyes. I wonder who came out with the idea of wearing these 'super big goggles' on their final leg.

Whoops, not sure why you cannot see the link. Hope you can see it now. This is better because you can see the 'goggles' clearly.

The same poster has some nice CSOI vids in her account. Here's Stomp by Kurt, Joanne and Patrick.

The opening program of the Japan SOI. No white flags here. Whom did Patrick lift in this program? Couldn't see well on my computer. He lifted Kaitlyn Weaver in Canada SOI.

He lifted Kaitlyn in the final. I guess the opening lifts in the JSOI were done by dancers and pairs.

According to this Skate Canada Article, Patrick is heading to Quebec City this weekend. What a World traveller he is!
I bought tickets to the Detroit Skating Club show on June 8th. I am excited to see him skate again.

So exciting for you luckiest1!! Would you mind taking pics or sharing your experience with us? I am in serious SOI withdrawal. Can't believe how fast it went and how I have to wait a whole year now
