Congratulations to First Time Olympic Coaches!

If you have ever been closely involved with a highly successful Figure Skater, you know they did not do it on their own.
Parents and family are huge but more important is that person who provides the "keys" to unlock the talent.
This is a cheer thread to those coaches that have made a skater and have the proud honor to now be recognized as an Olympic Coach.

This is a place to name names with pride and respect! Congratulations to all! Lets try and name everyone!!!

P.S. Thank you to all of these coaches, without you we would not have the joy of Figure Skating!

I think Christy Krall was with Patrick Chan, but it is ok to congratulate! This is for the New Coaches! The ones that we hope will help produce more future Olympians!

That's right...she was with him along with Lori at the 2010 Olympics.
    Thanks

Bobby Martin and Carrie Wall with Castelli & Shnapir. Amanda Evora!!! with Z&B. Both US pair coaching teams were all kinds of adorably excited for their students and I'm looking forward to seeing them in Sochi. And Amanda and Carrie have great K&C attire which will be fun.

I think the fact that Jason Brown is going with the only coach he has ever had is just so special and so rare. Brian Boitano is the only other skater I can even think of whose done that....

Also Linda Branan, who coached 2006 Olympian Matt Savoie from the age of 9 (16 years total) in Peoria, Illinois: http://www.peoriamagazines.com/tpw/2...peoria-profile

I think you are right. I think she took from Mark and Peter after she moved to Harvard, but when she went to the games she was still with Bonnie. I forgot about her (I honestly wouldn't have known about the others)

Has Lorna Bauer, Liam Firus' co-coach, ever coached an Olympian before?
