Erm, let me see: What's it like having John Zimmerman as a husband?

Sorry, couldn't resist! Have fun with your interview!

She had a fantastic free skate at Worlds in Vancouver in 2001 (I was there and it was overwhelmingly exciting, and she was almost in tears). She ended up being 10th overall after being 19th the previous year, which was a huge accomplishment in the days of 6.0 scoring. I would like to hear her thoughts on that program and what helped her make that breakthrough to skate that well.

I also remember the dress she wore for her freeskate, which was not much more than illusion fabric with a LOT of sequins:

It was a pretty risque dress for the times - although she looked spectacular in it - and I'd be interested in knowing where the design came from and whether she ever got any flack for it being so daring.

Did her daddy really build her a private rink when she was a kid? How many top class coaches did have in total....

How did he solve the wrap technique?

Has she and Zimmermann ever consider releasing a sex tape, as we all know it would have been quite the best seller?

You beat me to it, overedge. I was in Vancouver as well, and her qualifying free skate was amazing. Everyone was thrilled for her.

I loved the instrumental track she used skating to Time To Say Goodbye as well. It seems like only yesterday!

Thanks everyone for the help. Just wrapped up my interview with her, and got a big hug from John Zimmerman. Their daughter is so cute! She joined us for the last few minutes. Photo by John.
