I will give it that - I was able to get away with reading at my desk while looking like I just happened to be checking something on my phone. I'd never get away with having an actual book in front of me.

Yup, I am a "real" book person too. I know you can have access to so many books if you get something electronic, but I just love books. I don't want to stare at a screen any more than i have to. I already stare at the computer screen enough. One small thing that is making me rethink it, though, is that bedbugs have been found in books, especially ones from libraries. Yes, I know, it's rare, but that's enough to almost have me running from the library.... and I stress, "almost" enough...

LOL! I haven't seen that commercial in forever, but I still shudder at just the thought of it. Why do I find the Folger's siblings so much creepier than Flowers in the Attic??

I think FITA is the Gen X'ers' 50 Shades. Except I refuse to read 50 Shades.

Oh right, the Dollangangers had the cerulean eyes; it was Heaven Casteel who had the cornflower blue eyes. And Audrina had violet eyes. Did anyone in the history of these books just have garden-variety brown eyes?

What are violet eyes? I know Elizabeth Taylor was supposed to have them but they just seemed blue to me. Le shrug.

Yes, Elizabeth Taylor's eyes looked blue to me too. I guess blue eyes can vary in hue. I have blue eyes, but the are a greenish blue, almost turquoise (and change depending on what I wear). My brother's are sky blue. I suppose blues with more purplish hues could be considered violet eyes.
