Stefania Berton and Ondrej Hotarek was attended at
the Italian TV competition "Italia's Got Talent",
skating to the music of Dirty Dancing.
The television judges have expressed their vote
promoting them to the semi-finals which will take place in the coming weeks.

Congratulations for giving honor to the Italian figure skating.

Honestly I'm *really* surprised that they competed there! Isn't ISU very strict about amateur skaters attending such events??? :/

It's not a competition, they just performed there. It's a tv show

I eventually checked ISU rules and Art.102 reads:

A person becomes ineligible to participate in ISU activities and competitions by:
    .....
iii) skating or officiating in an event not sanctioned by a Member and/or
    the ISU
    ....
It says just "skating" not even "competing"... so IMO that was a *very* risky move from them... ...maybe someone else knows better?

Do you mean that skaters are not allowed to perform in a TV show? That's what Berton/Hotarek did, and as far as I know it's allowed by the ISU.
