    Here's a local New Jersey article: http://www.myveronanj.com/2013/10/09...ns-open-house/
The whole day will get a very big finish at 6:45 with an ice show called “The World Comes to Essex”. It features Bravo On Ice, The Synchroettes, Essex Special Skaters and National Team hopefuls with very special guests, Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov, this year’s World Champions Pairs. Tickets to the show are $7 for adults and $5 for children, and admission includes free public skating after the show. (There will be a $3 charge for skate rentals.)

    Thanks Sylvia.

I'm traveling to New Hope, PA this weekend. Hoping I can add this as a side trip. I've never seen them LIVE yet.

Sylvia, thank you so much for posting this in a separate thread. Would never have seen it hidden in Trankov's pants thread, amusing as it was.

Enjoyed the show very much - there seemed to be a large Russian team there. Volosozhar/Trankov performed, as did Bazarova/Larionov and Stolbova/Klimov (incidentally, the entire podium at 2012 Europeans.) Curious what the connection is - who coaches out of this arena? Are they all training there now? I assume V/T is getting ready for Skate America next week, but don't know about the others.

Other performers included juniors Lina Fedorova and Maxim Miroshkin, Ella Mizrahi (lovely presentation and program), Anastasiya Kononenko.

B/L did their short program to a medley of songs - is it supposed to be Charlie Chaplin? (That's what it's listed as on Goldenskate.) V/T did their Jesus Christ Superstar program, though only a portion of it. The pants were on full display and as bright and cheerful as the sun, though they look a bit different than the ones he wore at Nebelhorn. Watching top level pairs up close is really something to behold - the girls really fly in the throws and twists, and just watching some of those tricks makes me think pairs skaters are superhuman.

All 3 pairs currently train in Nina Mozer's group and she coached V/T at this NJ rink before 2013 Worlds.

Glad you could make it to the show and thanks very much for your videos (again)!

The connection to this rink is coach Anton Nimenko, who trained with Nina.

The show was good, though only an hour. Max's yellow pants suit the program perfectly "live;" better than in the photos/video I saw before.
