Great for S&K. I wish the Olympic team would be V&T, K&S, S&K.

B/L looked really tired, I wonder if they weren't feeling well. I also wonder if S/K are still thingking about changing thier free skate.

When is the ladies FS? After watching Tuk and Sot bomb at Finlandia and Japan Open, I'm thinking the team may be more open than it initially appeared, interested to see if any of the ladies here put up strong numbers...

Sinitsina/Zhiganshin only have 1 GP this year, right? Which is mostly because they didn't participate in any ISU Champs last spring and didn't get ranking points. So why aren't they doing any Senior B's to get more?

Thanks! Happy to see Pogorilaya got full credit for her 3lz-3t in both programs. The new 3lo-1/2lo-3s combo was UR, but understandable given it's a new combo for her and 3s historically has not been her best jump. Her BV for the FS is quite high, I'm curious to see how she fairs on the GP. She looks like she grew taller since last season so I am happy that, at least for now, her jumps still seem to be strong. Korobeynikova, OTOH, it makes me sad to see her struggle so much. I wonder what is the matter? She is so talented and such a beautiful skater...hoping for better in China.

Adding Tuktamysheva to the list of competitors for Memorial Panin. She wants to correct her errors from Findlandia here before leaving for SA on the 16th. Interview http://www.team-russia2014.ru/article/figur/11877.html

This sounds like a great competition, particularly interested in seeing how Kavaguti/Smirnov do and also Elizaveta.

According to the Russian forums, Smirnov fell during the program and could not finish. He couldn't get off the ice and was going to be taken to the hospital. It looks serious

She's leaving Russia in 2 weeks for Cup of Nice But she may not make nationals again with 18 pts and only 9 open spots. Right now there are 2 guaranteed to finish above her (Pervushkina, Artemieva) and 2 who most likely will pass her (Maksimova, Kaiumova), and a maybe (Biryukova) and 3 events remaining (none she can compete in for more points)

Videos to Panin Memorial will be uploaded to YouTube by mihsersh http://www.youtube.com/user/mihsersh...index=0&view=0
