Ah, just came here to "break" the story. Congratulations to Roger and Mirka!

Myla and Charlene will be about 5 when the new arrival shows up, so maybe they will start kindergarten of some sort. Even with nannies, traveling with a family must be an adventure!

If it's twins again, I will accuse him of seriously overachieving.

Yes, congratulations to the Federer family. I knew that with the girls being older that maybe another might be coming soon, so I wasn't surprised when I heard this.
All good wishes to Mirka for a healthy/normal pregnancy.

The Sara Errani-Roberta Vinci quarter is now completely wide open for players such as Madison Keys and Eugenie Bouchard to make the quarter-final (versus most likely Serena Williams).

So Roger finally has to play in the heat. I wonder if he'll rethink his latest tweet

This tourney used to be held in December before xmas. Would be better all round to move it back a month.

So much skating lately, I havent' had time to post in the Tennis thread.

Rafa looking good. He plays Monfils tonight. I"m a fan of MOnfils but I"m on cheering for him against my Rafa.

Vika is playing herself into the tourney. Serena looks unstoppable.

    Maria looked "drained" today.

wow. Pretty surprising DelPo is out this early.

I know I'm late with this, but congratulations to Roger and Mirka on expecting another child.

    Ivanovic WINS!!!

HOLY CRAP. I don't think Ana has beaten Serena, ever. Not even back when she was good. Huge upset!

Serena's back may have been hurting, but Ana still played really well. Good on her!

    Ana Ivanovic defeats Serena Williams - 4-6 6-3 6-3

The WTA tour has been stagnating for years. Maybe its finally turning the corner with some good new up and coming players (e.g. Belinda Bencic, Ana Konjuh, etc)

Ivanovic is finally getting her game back together. Hope she enjoys the kind of renaissance Kim Clijsters had a few years back

SO awesome that Ana won. She really does look like she's playing better these days and with such little competition at the very top the last few years, it's nice to see a former #1 rise again.

And, as she does more often than not when she loses, Serena complained of an injury and naturally didn't play her best. Yes, we knew she was coming in with some body pain issues, but when you lose it is much better to look a little more gracious in defeat.

And congrats to Genie Bouchard for reaching her first ever slam quarterfinal!!
