Very weird not to see Sharapova in there. Hope she can come back strong next season.

So...at the Nanjing tournament in China the ladies doubles team of Wang and Zhang defeated the doubles team of Tang and Yang! I would have loved to hear the play-by-play of that one.

Also, the final in Vienna men's 250 a couple weeks ago featured Tommy Haas vs. Robin Haase eek!

Anyways, the WTA 125K series (Like Nanjing) is a completely confusing entity - only 5 tournaments spaced out between February and November, occurring during weeks where there are also WTA tournaments or ITF 75K/50K challengers. I think the WTA is trying hard to essentially deem the ITF useless outside of the Grand Slams with the 125 K series.

Awesome for David... too bad he could not beat Djokovic in the final. Still, a win over Nadal is a massive achievement these days so he should really have confidence moving on to this coming week in London.

It's also 22 wins in a row for Novak! With the Davis Cup still to go. I wonder with this end of the year, he could go on a roll like he did in 2011? It's a shame he didn't bring this game to the USO final

I can't believe novak had such a dominant performance! He looks so comfortable on these tennis surfaces, I just hope he can keep it up throughout the remainder of the season!
