During 2010, Universal Sports aired Olympic Ice or the really boring title that they changed for some reason. Terry Gannon was the host that time. Not as fun as Olympic Ice but it was still great. Hopefully, US does that again.

Yes, I remember that. It was good but didn't have the humor of Olympic Ice.

Universal Sports did have a lot of Olympic related programming for 2010. All of it was news/commentary related. There was no actual sports coverage. By 2012, NBC Sports channel had arrived and all of the Olympic programming was on networks other than Universal. Universal did have a lot of the Olympic trials (diving, swimming, gymnastics, etc) in connection with NBC, but no Olympic programming.

Universal Sports promotes themselves as covering Olympic sports, i.e., sports that are part of the Olympics, not the Olympics themselves. For example if you google Universal Sports the tag line that comes up is "Year-Round Coverage of Olympic Sports & Athletes".
    Creating drama!
