    Kevin van der Perren

Kevin van der Perren posted on Facebook today that he had lost 1.5 kg and his quad would be back soon. Am I rash in suggesting he could be considering a comeback?

The appeal of a European Olympics might be too great for a lot of skaters.

Good for him! I really doubt a quad would be for any show hes been invited to skate in. And he won Belgium's dancing with the stars!

Is there a money prize connected with Belgium's DWTS?

That would definitely be nice if he's considering it. I would love to see Kevin make a comeback. Definitely keeping my fingers crossed!

I have to ask if he really is planning a comeback.

I don't think he'll find a partner who can do a quad, unless he plans on pairing up with Brian Joubert post-Sochi

Hendrickx was injured prior to Europeans, and did not compete there, but competed at worlds. I heard secondhand Van der Perren talked to his federation about possibly competing last season, since Hendrickx was injured, but the federation wasn't willing/able to provide sufficient funding. Judging from his past retirement record it wouldn't be shocking if Van der Perren decided to try for Sochi.

It wouldn't surprise me, either, since McCorkell is definitely going to be there.
