I like the sound of that. "Two time Olympic Gold Medalists."

Additionally, they get early feedback. I guess they will have a little talk with the judges afterwards, regardless of the score. One of their struggles the past seasons were getting the levels for the patterns and step sequences, so I guess they want to sort it out before the season starts in order to focus more on the FD.

BTW, we really got spoiled with pictures and interviews during the off-season, compared to the last seasons.
I don't think its the pattern they have problems with. At worlds only two teams got level 4s on their YP and Tessa and Scott were one of them.

Don't know if it is available outside of Canada.
Thank you both so much for the streams! But I really hope that someone will record for us, non-canadians, if the streams turn out to be geo blocked.

it's great they're debuting it early. it's also great that they're staying in north america -- giving a nod to domestic summer competitions + they don't have to travel that far to go and return to canton.

    and deb, awesome quote!

    AWESOME!

It's really what I wanted... ballet, Russian composer, not well known piece of music that they can put their stamp on... new lifts, new elements... so happy!

This is what I love about our little group... by the end of the week someone will have up a dissertation of the history of both pieces, a bio of their lift specialist, and a million youtube clips from the ballet...

    And here we go

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pUhQBB2V-nI (The Seasons, here is also a wikipedia article about the ballet http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Seasons_%28ballet%29): around the 7 minute mark you hear the waltz.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bW7C8ulp8s (The Piano Concerto with a wikipedia article as well http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piano_C...%28Scriabin%29)

It is really different from anything they have done before. It has this old russian imperial feeling to it (for the lack of a better word). A good word might "grande". However, I am just so happy they are finally doing a ballet, was about time, seriously.

And as a huge fan of Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald, I am just happy!

"Although it is generally thought that Virtue and Moir, who have won two world titles in addition to Olympic gold, will retire after this season, Virtue refused to say anything definite.

"We do not know yet what we will do for the season after the Olympics," she said. "We take it year by year."

So many new and wonderful Information in that icenetwork article, and this one I hadn't really expect! It is like a one day to early birthday present!

I've always thought that they wouldn't retire this season. This sounds awesome. I'm off to listen to the music selection.
