Communication 1797, Including Minimum Scores for Championships and Olympics

The ISU released Communication 1797 -- many thanks to Tatjana Flade for the heads up tweet -- which lists Decisions of the ISU Council. The document can be access from a link on this page:
    http://www2.isu.org/vsite/vnavsite/p...0.html?id=1336

These are the announced minimum scores for championships and the Olympics:

    6. Minimum Total Technical Scores for ISU Figure Skating Championships 2014 and the Olympic Winter Games 2014

A GSD thread was started earlier today re. the Minimum Scores but I think this one is titled more clearly.

    From the earlier thread:

Cyprus' Nationals took place May 17-19, 2013, in Limasol, Cyprus with the help of officials from Slovenia and the ISU - results link/thread posted in Kiss and Cry: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/show...st-ever-held-)

That's a start. According to the ISU, Cyprus either hasn't had skaters compete in international competitions or didn't meet the (unlisted) requirements. They didn't distinguish between the three countries in 1797, leaving the reason(s) per country unspecified.

Kristina Dubrovskaya (CYP) competed in a JGP and another junior international in 2012-13: http://www.isuresults.com/bios/isufs00034215.htm

Cyprus, Morocco (POL) and Grenada (PHI) had skaters participate in the inaugural ISU World Development Trophy in Poland and the Philippines earlier this year: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/show...=1#post3888514

They didn't specific what the other requirements were: this may have been boilerplate language to cover both instances, and the document reads "and/or." I didn't follow the ISU World Development Trophy; the document on the "results" link from the event show only results of the FS. If only a FS was part of the competition, it may not count in meeting the criteria.

Without knowing what the other requirements are, I couldn't argue one way or another whether the countries met them.

Yes, this is true for Morocco.

Oliya Clarkson (GRN) has competed internationally for Grenada since 2011, including at 2012 Junior Worlds: http://www.isuresults.com/bios/isufs00013784.htm
I don't know if Grenada has enough skaters to hold a Nationals, though.
