Landmark victory for people who do not identify as "male" or "female" in Australia

Legal recognition for those who don't identify as either 'M' or 'F'

I've found this case really interesting. Do other countries allow non "M" and "F" options? And if so, what are they?

All forms everywhere should include Male, Female and Other as options.

I study psychology so I get a lot of various surveys and questionnaires to fill and get really furious when psychology students and lecturers - out of all people - fail to recognise that:

    1) Sex and gender are two different things
    2) Intersex people exist
