What's a panhandler? What's a stuffed animal? It sounds like something you'd find in a museum.

A beggar and a plush toy, respectively. Or am I being damnably literal-minded (or even forgivably literal-minded )?

I'm unsure of my preference, but I've given more money to beggars than street performers so far in my life.

Plush? You mean a soft toy? Panhandler? Gold, or rather the lack of it?

    Pan handling
    OR
    Stuffed animals

    P.S.
On the chance that Orientalplane is serious, a panhandler is someone begs strangers for money. We seem to have more and more of them lately here in Toronto.

OK, thanks Buzz, but you do know that I'm British and live in England, don't you? I have never heard anyone use the word 'panhandler'. As for a stuffed animal, to me that is an animal which has been killed or has died and is then stuffed by a taxidermist. What word do you have for that kind of stuffed animal?

I can't speak for Buzz, but I can't think of any single word or phrase for a dead animal which is stuffed by a taxidermist, except, of course, for "trophy", which, as I suspect we all know, refers only to those that are preserved in part and prepared for mounting on a wall.

Sorry OP, never mind the photos, I was being a smarta**. : Stuffed animals are just children's toys. Usually for very young children. And I still love them.
