    Skating club logos

I was having a conversation with a group last week about logos for figure skating clubs.

One of the comments was about logos being very female specific (eg pictures of bielmann). They would prefer to see a logo as something more gender neutral.

One logo I really like is for a State Association here in Australia

    http://www.waisa.org/Home.html

It is based on the figure of a swan which is that states fauna emblem. And then incorporates ice tracings.

Are there any other club logos you really like or ideas about logs that might be gender non-defined?

Some of these are for skate events, but many are club logos. I think LAFSC has a nice "vintage" feel. it's simple and would look nice embroidered in gold thread. http://www.entryeeze.com/competitions.htm

Here's the one from my club; it's very vintage. The club formed in 1912.

I love the Skating Club of Boston logo. There is also an ISI club in Connecticut that has a gorgeous logo with a flower but I can't remember the name of the club.

http://www.tbsc.net/index.php Ours is in the upper left corner. I have always thought it was really cute. They used the state of Florida and put a blade on it!

What could be cooler than the Santa Rosa Figure Skating Club's logo, with Snoopy?
"I miss footwork that has any kind of a discernible pattern. The goal of a step sequence should not be for a skater to show the same ice coverage as a Zamboni and take about as much time as an ice resurface. " ~ Zemgirl, reflecting on a pre-IJS straight line sequence
