I'm sure Tennyson would be pleased to know that his work, or some variant of it, lives on in an internet figure skating forum in the 21st century.

    But I digress.

Never tried. Is there a translation you can recommend?

I love Lindisfarne's 'You Don't Care' - look it up on YouTube.

    No.

I can't choose. I love Ralph Fiennes in everything. I think he's brilliant.

Schindler's List (though I didn't like the film) might be his best performance. 'The End of the Affair' is one of my favourite films of all time.

(Why don't you just answer the question? )

The Grapes of Wrath or Moby Dick?

The partial credit and extra credit points add up to a respectable score of 96/100. :measured but warm applause:

Purple It would be entertaining to see a major UK parliamentary party collapse into third-place (or lower) status.

Will Andy Murray compete at this year's French Open?

    oui
    non
I'm not even going to guess.

Dear dear, not much of a choice, is there?

I'll go for Hague, even though he has that terrible boring voice.

A joke that was doing the Labour rounds just before WH was defeated in 2001:

"Why are there two 'f's in Ffion?"

    "Because there's no effin leader."

Said with the confidence of party workers who knew the GE would be a stroll.

The crimson petal or the white?

That's part of the joke. Goes off to sulk at f_d changing her question and mine being ignored.

By the way, I know nothing about cars except that if one can get you from A to B, it is a good car.

Sorry. I just felt that my whole entry was like William Hague's boring voice.

By the way, I know nothing about cars except that if one can get you from A to B, it is a good car.
:nods because we have that in common: I'll choose the Austin Mini because it sounds Diana Rigg-ish.

    The crimson petal.
