TV ratings for Sunday January 19/2014:
^ Oh, was there anything on last night other than Downton Abbey and Sherlock?
I'm slowly catching up on "Downton Abbey" and "Sherlock" on Netflix and HuluPlus. I don't like to jump into the middle of a series. I have to watch from the beginning with every episode in order.
The premiere of "Looking" was good. But I'm reserving judgement just to see if it becomes too stereotypical. Gay stereotypes get me annoyed.

Only "The Slap" and "Emerald City" interests me of the new shows mentioned.
With the right actor/actress, I would love to see Peter Pan. It has to be someone who can sing as well as fly. I loved Mary Martin. Flying live will be quite a challenge.
Was anyone else floored by Sleepy Hollow's season finale?! All I can say is holly $h!t!!! That was the best two hours of television I have watched in a loooong time and what a S-O-B of a seasn finale!
LOVE this article but don't read it if you hate spoilers.

Finally answered for Wyliefan, who asked back in November.
'Ripper Street' Season 2 to Premiere Saturday, February 22 on BBC America: http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/201...ytheNumbers%29If anyone finds a BBC America premiere date for Ripper Street, let me know, will you? The press releases (from the summer) say Dec. 1, but it's not on their website schedule.

Thanks AliasJohnDoe - I'm always anxious for Wed ratings since I love Nashville and want the show to keep going As usual, the overnights don't look great, and then I found this nugget on the same site:
This makes a lot of sense to me - I love the show, but often DVR it anyway because I don't want to stay up until 11 on a weekday. Looks like I'm not the only oneNashville (10-11pm – 5.0 million and 1.4/4 in AD18-49):
At 10pm, Nashville gained 8% in Adults 18-49 from the prior week. On average, Nashville is ABC’s biggest percentage gainer in TV playback this season (Top 5 on all of broadcast), shooting up 75% in Adults 18-49 (+1.2 rating points) from L+SD to L+7.
