I recommend "Bates Motel" if you haven't seen it. There is a teaser trailer for season 2 of "Bates Motel" that was just released.

Wow, The Tomorrow People may have been my favourite pilot I've seen. Good movement of plot, good action, good laying of the foundation of the lead's moral conflict, not bad acting, not bad writing. I'm in. Thank you, CW!

I enjoyed both premieres of "Tomorrow People" and "AHS:Coven". Wednesdays could be my favorite night of TV.

I thought The Tomorrow People was just a wee bit too CW ... but I enjoyed it very much, more than I thought I would. Definitely a keeper for me so far. Yes, it's a retread of so many other stories (including the original British series), but they took the best ideas, added their own, and put all the pieces together in an intelligent and entertaining fashion. Well done.

    2013-14 TV Season

AHS: Coven was great. Started a little all over the place but they were clearly trying to set up the story and get it going as quickly as possible. By the end of the episode the pacing felt on track and shit was already hitting the fan!

I only saw the first half because I had to switch halfway through to watch Super Fun Night. Which was again, AWESOME! Loved the line: "I was working on my Pretty Little Liars fan-fiction...I made them all fat and ugly".

I never really got to see it. It was on the same time as two or three other shows that I follow, so I only got to see bits and pieces during commercial breaks. It seemed okay, although something I probably wouldn't have followed the whole season. Shame to see such a great cast out of work now...
It's official. I am madly in love with Meryl Davis.

Ten minutes into Wonderland and I'm about ready to give up. I don't seem to have the patience for new series anymore. Gave up on Agents, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to give up on The Crazy Ones. That leaves me with a grand total of zero new shows this season.

The pilot for The Tomorrow People is repeating tomorrow. I hadn't planned on watching it originally, but given the positive reviews I'll give it a shot.

And Kathy Bates character "Delphine LaLaurie" is based on a real person:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delphine_LaLaurie

Marie Delphine LaLaurie (née Macarty or Maccarthy, c. 1775 – c. 1842), more commonly known as Madame LaLaurie, was a Louisiana-born socialite and serial killer known for her involvement in the torture and murder of slaves.
Born in New Orleans, LaLaurie married three times over the course of her life. She maintained a prominent position in the social circles of New Orleans until April 10, 1834, when rescuers responding to a fire at her Royal Street mansion discovered bound slaves within the house who showed evidence of torture over a long period. LaLaurie's house was subsequently sacked by an outraged mob of New Orleans citizens, and it is thought that she fled to Paris, where she is believed to have died.[1]
As of 2013, the Royal Street mansion where LaLaurie lived is still standing and is a prominent New Orleans landmark.

Couldn't get past the first commercial break on that one, not surprised.

There is a new show starting tonight on the Sci-fi channel called "Atlantis" but I don't get that channel. Does anyone know where I can watch it online?

Buzz, if you're in Canada, I think the Space channel is airing this. So they should have episodes online later, as well?

I'm really enjoying Hostages. The writing is some of the best on TV these days, I'd say second only to The Good Wife. The direction is perfect and a can't lose lead cast of Toni Collette and Dylan McDermott. I didn't see how they could build a series around this idea, but each episode spells out more and more about how things could go, so I'm hoping this show will be around a long time. This and Super Fun Night are the only two shows that I'm "all in" on.
It's official. I am madly in love with Meryl Davis.
