Good to hear the positive reviews of Super Fun Night -- I recorded and am looking forward to watching it tonight. Or maybe I'll keep it for tomorrow night, coz that's, you know, Super Fun Night.

^ Well, I didn't love it ... but I'm very happy for those who do. I know from bitter experiences how much it sucks when a beloved show is cancelled even before it has a chance.

So far there are no new shows this season that would make me cry if they were cancelled. With the possible exception of Agents of SHIELD (I haven't had a chance to watch this week's episode yet).

I watched "The Originals" last night and really liked it. Perfect location: New Orleans . "The Vampire Diary" cast needed to be widdled down. It had too many characters to keep track of and the spinoff was a good idea to help that happen. Also lots of witches in shows this season (The Originals, American Horror Story:Coven, Witches of East End).

My only grrrrr is....."The Originals" permanent time slot will be Tuesdays at 8pm starting this Tuesday..... the same time period as "SHIELD". I prefer it stayed Thursdays at 9pm.

The Crazy Ones this week I enjoyed very much. Robin Williams tuned it down a bit and just right amount! At least for me I hope the series gets picked up!

My guess is because CBS decided to book-end Big Bang Theory (8pm) and Two and Half Men (9:30pm) on Thursdays, The Millers and The Crazy Ones are going to do well enough to get a full season order. NBC is already in trouble after Welcome to the Family and Sean Saves the World didn't perform to expectations.

I thought Welcome to the Family was...okay. I like the cast, but the writing could certainly be better. I'll watch it once more and see if I will keep with it or not.

I started to watch the second episode. It began with the lady who bought the ticket freaking out because she could not find it. This was after the lottery people held a press conference with all the winners. Really? Press conferences are held when somebody hasn't already handed in the ticket? And right away, everybody decided the way to deal with this situation was to tear the convenience store where they worked to pieces. (Luckily all six of them were all working at the same day and time to help out with this.) I threw a pillow at the TV screen and then turned it off.
It's official. I am madly in love with Meryl Davis.

New shows I'm looking forward to this week:
    "Tomorrow People"
"Witches of East End" with Julia Ormond.
"Once Upon A Time In Wonderland". But it's on against "Vampire Diaries" and "Big Bang Theory"...grrrr
"The Originals" new time slot. But it's against "SHIELD"....grrrr

Looking forward to the returns of:
"American Horror Story: Coven"!!! I've been really excited about this. It's my second favorite show behind "The Walking Dead"
"Beauty and The Beast" but it's on against "Sleepy Hollow"....grrrr
"Arrow" but it's on against "Revolution"....grrrr

I'm finding too many of the shows I like are competing in the same time slots as other shows I want to watch. And I don't DVR.

Lots of Witches this season. Besides "The Originals" having them as a main story:

I haven't seen much advertising for "Witches of East End". Maybe because it's on Lifetime? Anything with Julia Ormond deserves a look.

I'm almost positive "American Horror Story: Coven" will go over big also. Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett and Gabourey Sidibe join the cast!!! The entire cast !!!

If anyone were going to do a series on witches, I've been hoping for years someone would bring Anne Rice's "The Witching Hour" to the screen. Preferably HBO/Showtime.

26 seasons. That is insane. Has any show been on longer than that? Other than news programs?
