TV ratings for Monday September 16 2013:
The "Sleepy Hollow" premiere and "Under The Dome" season finale did really well.
I loved Sleepy Hollow and only watch Under The Dome because it came right after and wasn't impressed. Hope Sleepy Hollow can hold on to a 3.0 ish ratings and then maybe Fox wouldn't cancel it mid-season. LOL
I'm also a bit suspicious that Crane wasn't more freaked about taking orders from a woman - and a black woman to boot. That's such an obvious plot point for someone who's been awakened after 250 years.
Q: Why can't I read the competition threads?
A: Competition forums on the board are available to those with a Season Pass or a premium membership How to View Kiss & Cry
I didn't watch the first two American Horror Stories because I'm not all that into horror, but I'm looking forward to this one because I've always been interested in witches. I can't wait!
Enjoyed the Bones premiere last night. Officially, the character of Angela is so on my nerves. I can't stand her self-righteous snarkiness. But I'm glad Booth and Bones are back on track, even though the wedding has been postponed.
I mainly watch Sci-Fi/Fantasy and am looking forward to checking out a few of the new sci-fi/fantasy shows:

Anyone else watch Brooklyn Ninety-Nine? I thought it wasn't bad -- or at least it had enough in it that I think it could be quite good once it finds its groove. It wasn't quite satirical enough to be a satire, or wacky enough to be a screwball comedy, but I think that will even out. Andy Samberg is entertaining (for now, anyway -- that act could get tired), and I've always liked Andre Braugher.
The only thing that really bugged me was the "necktie as team uniform" bit. Hello, you have 2 women detectives on the "team" -- how does that fit in? That was just bad writing. What's the point in being gender balanced if you go and screw it up like that?

I'd like them to back off on Crane being so accepting as well. It's not that he can't get there, but it should take time. Let's put it down to the stress of the situation...yeah...that'll work.
As for the mish-mash, at least we know the players. Remeber - this is only the 1st Horseman of the Apocalypse, we've got 3 to go.
btw - if anyone is interested in the Jeff Jensen treatment - here it is: http://popwatch.ew.com/2013/09/16/fox-sleepy-hollow/
I've also been enjoying the books, which are different, of course. (So far no Tesla, or Houdini in sight!) But I think having seen the show before reading the books, is why, although Yannick Bisson may aslo have something to do with it!
I used to watch Murdoch not anymore. I gave up on the series after he, who is supposed to be so straight laced, set free a serial killer who also tried to kill him. Haven't watched it since, because the Murdoch character i liked would have arrested her anyway. JMVHO

Resurrection. Wow, this looks AMAZING. Looks brilliantly done, had to get a hankie! Frances Fisher is a plus, even makes up for the fact that Brad Pitt is one of the producers.
Believe looks more like a motion picture trailer than a TV promotion. Maybe that's because it's created by J.J. Abrams and directed by Alfonso Cuarón (Harry Potter, Pan's Labyrinth, Gravity, etc.). They went with the less is more method for the trailer though, so I'm not yet hooked but certainly hope to be!
Intelligence: Great cast! (Josh Holloway and Marg Helgenberger) Not really my kind of show, but I'll give it at least a one (or two because of Holloway!) episode shot.
Star-Crossed has a great premise, but it's been doused mercilessly in CW-ness...
The 100...see above. How does the CW get these great premises and then fills up their shows with moronic, two-dimensional characters? Cast plus: Henry Ian Cusick (Desmond from Lost). Cast negative: homophobe Isaiah Washington (Grey's Anatomy).
It's official. I am madly in love with Meryl Davis.
I am intrigued by Resurrection but not sure if the show is a drama, sci-fi, mystery, horror or what. Guess I should read the book before watching the show.
