I hope none of my favourite shows deign to air new episodes during the Olympics. I can barely forgive "Lost" for airing TWO new episodes, one on the same night of the men's shorts and the other the night of the ladies short.

Never mess with a geocacher. We know the best places to hide a body....
Regarding "The Slap" Melissa George (In Treatment)who played Rosie in the Australian series is a very dear friend of mine through skating when we were younger. (She got the silver medal at Jnr World Championships at 14 on Roller) I met her when she was 7, and choreographed programs for her. We've stayed close since then. She was amazing in the Aussie series, as you can see in the first 30 seconds of this episode. Not meaning to brag but she is still so humble and honest she deserves praise (even though she dissed the Australian media a few months ago, which she thinks the uproar it caused is rather funny and shows the mentality of Aussie media). I wish she had been cast in the U.S. series.
I guess the hard thing for a lot of people to accept is why God would allow me to go running through their yards, yelling and spinning around.
So it looks like PBS is showing House of Cards starting on Monday. Has anyone else heard about this? I just randomly noticed on my TV guide, but I am very excited!
It's phenomenal. Well, the first part of the trilogy (House of Cards) and the second (To Play the King) are phenomenal. By the third part (The Final Cut) it was starting to lose steam, but still very good.
The books are very good too, btw.
ETA: Doesn't look like the Seattle PBS is showing it -- but that's okay, I have the DVDs!

Season 2 of "House of Cards" (American version) will premiere February 14/2014 at 12 am on Netflix.
I'm still catching up on season 1.
I thought it was the British version when I first saw the listing, but then I clicked on the description and it refers specifically to Washington DC. When I get time, I'll investigate further.
