Interesting to see Thailand and Australia listed -- are those two competitions new? Or just very under the radar?

Hopefully this will really help out the skaters who actually live/train on that side of the world...

The Australian comp. is new along with Slovenia Open, and I believe this is the first year the Asian Trophy is "Open" to all ISU members. Last year, Lombardia Trophy was an interclub comp. with international entries (including from Quebec, Canada), not an ISU international.

Ice Star Minsk BLR debuted last year Sept. 7-9 and has moved to October 17-20, 2013.

Sylvia provided a link to the Nebelhorn 2013 announcement in the Sochi Qualification thread:

    Summary:

Preliminary Entry Form (A) deadline: 30 June 2013.
Entry Forms (B02/1 [not trying to qualify for OWG], B02/2 [trying to qualify for OWG]: 3 August 2013

Target field size: 24, to be expanded if there are more countries attempting to qualify to OWG

Entries (no explicit limit on Organizing Member (GER) entries):
Singles: Non-OM members who placed 1-10 at Nebelhorn can enter up to two, if there's room; all nations attempting to qualify for OWG can send one.
    • Men: JPN, RUS, USA, CZE, KAZ, CAN
    • Ladies: CAN, RUS, JPN, SWE, EST (AUS and FIN need to qualify and can send one)

Dance/Pairs: Each ISU member, up to two, if there's room.

No minimum scores are required to participate. In the past scores from the Olympic qualifier count towards the SB list. Since the preliminary deadline is after the initial GP selection, it is good strategy to use as many spots as possible to secure a SB score for skaters who are not invited to GP and where spots at championships are limited.
