Someday I will tell you the tale of the time I worked as a phone chat female Russian body builder who perfected my choke holds while in the KGB. I really put a lot of heart and research into that gig.Egad! What a sales pitch: hate men and get a job plus revenge! The mind boggles.
I remember an old scam we used to have to watch out for at the office I worked at. These people would call and claim to service your copy machines and what not. They would say they needed to check your machine and ask for some number on the machine. If you gave it to them they could then know exactly what kind of toner you had and would send you all sorts of toner and a HUGE bill for it. They were very sneaky. What made it worse was that sometimes the ACTUAL people who serviced our machine would call and we had a hard time figuring out who to trust.

^^^I get those calls all the time. Also calls for our "IT Dept." - my co-worker who handles our computer system wants those calls going straight into his voice mail. The formula is simple where I work - unless you do business with us already, we don't have to speak to you.
Well, look at that... I received a letter saying that I qualified for two free round trip airline tickets. No company address, short time offer, no info on why I was chosen, etc. Wish it was true, but I know better.
