Men who performed triple loop combinations

Are there any men who have done combinations with a triple loop at the end (3lutz-3loop, 3flip-3loop, or even 3axel-3loop)? Just curious, because I don't see it done in competition regularly. It didn't seem to give much of a competitive advantage under either judging system.

Kurt Browning always went for a 3 sal 3 loop...his reason: no one was else was doing it.
Jeff Langdon did a 3 sal/3loop at the Nagano Olympics
Jayson Denommee did a 3 axel 3 loop at Nationals 2001.

I'm pretty sure Kevin Reynolds has tried a 3 loop combo at some point in the last 2 years when he kept tweaking his jump layout but can remember exactly which event it was.

Yes, Kevin has had the triple loop in his three jump combo at the end of the program. I believe that he also did a quad (sal or toe)-triple toe-triple loop combination at Canadians one year - I believe 2008.

Eric Millot and Ryan Jahnke have both done jumps with triple loops on the end, but I'd have to go back and look at which combos in which competition. Plushenko has at least attempted quad toe-triple toe-triple loop and I'm pretty sure he also did it successfully at least once.

I love combos that end with a triple loop. Too bad they have come under such scrutiny now that skaters prefer not to attempt those.
That said, it's true that there seems to be more ladies than men who went for 3lp combos.

    Here's Eric Millot's triple loop-triple loop

Here's Millot making a valiant attempt at triple flip-triple loop in 1994. Not quite successful, but it got my attention for sure.

It was thematically appropriate. Haven't you ever seen Songs of the Victorious Hammertime?

^And directed by Peter Greenaway, yes. It's a shame he'd stopped working with Michael Nyman by then.

He nailed it in 1995 and landed the first ever male 3 loop/ 3 loop in 1996 at worlds. Countryman Thiery Cerez could tack a triple loop on the end of combos too..

Random voids were j Robinson in practice at worlds and Julia sebestyen landed multiple in practice at euros both 3 sal / 3 loop combos but never in competition.

Dan Hollander supposedly did 3 axel/3 loop combos regularly in practices, but would always back off the 3 loop in competitions.

Eric Millot and Ryan Jahnke have both done jumps with triple loops on the end,
Those are definitely the two I remember attempting them the most.

Ryan Jahnke attempted 3Lz+3Lo, 3F+3Lo and 3S+3Lo (maybe even 3Lo+3Lo?) combos during his career but I'm not sure if there are videos online of him doing one or more of these cleanly in competition. IIRC, he landed a pretty good-looking 3F+3Lo in a FS on youtube but can't remember which competition offhand.

I believe Goebel at the latter stage of his career was landing 3axel2toe3loops.

Dan Hollander was doing 3A+3L in 1996 and 1997 in practice regularly and it was his planned combo at least in short both years but bailed to a 2L.

Browning added 3S+3L because he wanted 3 triple-triples. Did that at 1991 worlds including 3A+3T, 3F+3T

Kevin did 3F+3L at nationals this year: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...KUG4zgo#t=239s

Second person to do 3Lo+3Lo? (after Millot, before Lipinski?)

Plushenko famously attempted a 4T+3T+3Lo at the 2002 Olympics and went clean with it at Worlds.

Beautiful one from Nobunari Oda here:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xY_D9YN_quU

Kevin Van Der Perren also tacked 3Lo on the end of a three-jump combo:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rosTPrSqjwY (spectacular in person)

Ryan Jahnke landed a clean 3F+3Lo in qualifying at that Worlds if I recall, and upgraded it to 3Lz+3Lo the next two seasons.

In practice Tim Goebel could tack a 3Lo onto anything.

A little more obscure, but Tommy Steenburg definitely hit a 3Lo+3Lo at Easterns (?) a few years back.
