By my count, 94 winter athletes (including 14 figure skaters/ice dancers) were photographed in 5 days and 1491 images are published on Getty Images.

In order to educate myself about the other Sochi Olympic hopefuls that were photographed (I only recognized a few names/medalists from the Vancouver Games), I've listed them below by sport - link to my post in the Other Sports forum:

WOW, excellent video, thanks for posting it!

Surprised Donlan & Speroff were included, but happy! *doing the happy dance* And that Rippon Lutz really was the highlight of the whole video, W O W!!!!

Also all the pictures from the photo shoot were FABO! *two huge thumbs up*

The only downside, I kept thinking of what happened to McLaughlin & Brubaker, all that pre-hype, Coca Cola endorsement, coverage of them everywhere, then BAM the shock of not making the team. Seriously, I thought they were a lock and so did everyone else, including the sponsors, et al. I feel for Rockne, if he doesn't make it this time he's still young enough for one more try in 2018, but honestly I wonder what he will do?

I get chills up my spine every time watching that slide-show tribute. It's like reliving some of the magical moments of her career.

    More than one, actually.

Alissa's whispery voice is quite sweet, but was she hoarse?

It was quite nice to see Jonathan Cassar and Wesley Campbell included too, even though they have both retired from eligible competition.

    http://www.teamusa.org/Media/Games/S...4/Media-Summit
The Team USA Media Summit will take place Sept. 29-Oct. 2, 2013, at the Waldorf Astoria Park City, [Utah] a resort within the Hilton HHonors portfolio. More than 100 Team USA hopefuls for the 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games will participate in the four-day event.
    ...
TOTAL: 105 participants (as of Sept. 5, subject to change)
    ...
    Figure Skating (14)
    Max Aaron
    Jeremy Abbott
    Marissa Castelli
    John Coughlin
    Meryl Davis
    Caydee Denney
    Gracie Gold
    Evan Lysacek
    Alex Shibutani
    Maia Shibutani
    Simon Shnapir
    Ashley Wagner
    Charlie White
    Agnes Zawadzki
I'm glad to see Castelli/Shnapir included this time! Chock/Bates (Finlandia), Ross Miner and Christina Gao (both Nepela) are scheduled to compete in early October, which likely is why they are not included.
