    The Cinnamon Challenge

Don't take the challenge - it's not good for you! It sounds awful to me anyway, but I've seen a few people try it. What will they think of next...?

I had no idea cinnamon could do all that. I put it on/in a lot of things, but I can't say I ever had the urge to taste a teaspoonful by itself.

A little taste of cinnamon can give you breathing problems and make your eyes water like crazy. Why on earth anyone would think it is a sensible idea to eat an entire spoonful is beyond me.
We live in an ageist society where everything is based on youth, but I hated being 18. I don't like teenagers any more now than I did then. I'm 49 now and there is no way that I'd go back to my teens and 20s - even if I knew what I know now, I don't want to go through all that again. I found it a very difficult time. - Buzz Osborne of the Melvins

When I was a kid in the early 70's, we liked to soak toothpicks in cinnamon oil and suck on them. It was such a success that a few of my friends then decided to soak their clarinet reeds in cinnamon oil... NOT a good idea...

Chase it with a couple tablespoons of nutmeg while you're at it....

My sister and I used to put a ton of cinnamon on top of a cup of water. You could stick your finger in it and never get wet because the cinnamon would coat your finger. Now, just think of that stuff going into your lungs.
