This is beautiful. The only issue with Wounded Warrior foundation is if you were not wounded in a recent war you are not given any help from this organization. So if you served in the first Gulf War or before you are not given ANY benefit for any help. SO it may be a good idea to include veterans somehow. This is amazing they are drawing attention to Warriors though and hopefully first responders for Boston. Such a tragedy there!

The Boston Police Department’s hockey team, a world-renowned squad featuring numerous players with Hockey East experience, took to the ice on Friday evening as part of Ice Stars for Wounded Warriors at the University of Massachusetts weekend. The event benefits a pair of charities – the Wounded Warrior Project and the One Fund Boston.

This weekend’s Ice Stars for Wounded Warriors event, organized by Kerry Togneri, who herself is a military parent, continues from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The weekend also features a figure skating show starring Olympians Todd Eldredge and Mirai Nagasu at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Mullins Center.

A couple of videos from last night:
    Mirai Nagasu: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eva8OuDbGIw
    Wesley Campbell: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_o6YLyQ1YE

ETA: Donlan/Speroff reportedly did not skate in Amherst last night but performed in a club show in Smithfield, Rhode Island today.
