    RIP Allan Arbus

I just spotted that Allan Arbus died. He was 95, so he had a good innings.

Aside from his acting (his Sidney Freedman character on MASH was a favourite of mine), I had no idea about some the other interesting aspects of his life. Or that he was married to Diane Arbus!

    RIP, Allan.

He was an extraordinarily gifted person.

MASH wouldn't have had such "resonance" without Dr. Sidney Friedman.
He made the character so real that Alan Alda believed that he was a trained psychiatrist.
    RIP; and thank you!

Agreed; I loved that character. Mr. Arbus lived a fascinating life!
