As for Leonova, that's extremely unimaginative and doesn't suit her besides. Honestly, why do so many skaters think that they can bring something new and interesting to Carmen?

Another Carmen? You can't imagine how thrilled I am (not)...
    Anyway, good luck to Alena.

Seems like they are always the last to announce... I&K, S&B, R&T... are the only top ice dancers who haven't announced by now right? Or the only ones I care about, anyway.

I read that R/T music is POTO from fsonline.ru. SD is Chicago which is on youtube.

I also read that Swan Lake rumor on I/K but they will show their programs this week so you will know soon! Their test skates will be open according an article I read on fsonline.

POTO really? Did Igor do it? That sucks...

Wow so I&K really are using Swan Lake? I wonder what parts... I have always wanted to see a great FD to Swan Lake (I'd hoped V&M would do it), but I just hope this idea is not wasted too early in I&K's career... hope it will have interesting lifts and positions unlike their DQ. IF they do it right (biiiig if) I could see that having Olympic medal potential for them.

pani what about I&K's SD, do you know?

I asked about I/K's programs on Doppio Axel's facebook page and they answered that it is inspired by Audrey Hepburn (I am not sure it's the sentence is correct...well, it is about Hepburn), so I guess it may use the soundtrack of one of her movies.

I can't see Audrey Hepburn having anything to do with 16 Tons

I guess it is the Tom Jones version that so many of the juniors are using?

Super choices! I wonder if they'll be in full balletic costumes -- i.e., stick-out tutu for her -- as they did with the Don Q ballet FD a few years ago?

Article on choreographer Mark Pillay: http://www.skatecanada.ca/AboutUs/Ne...S/Default.aspx
Now the 35-year-old Canadian is a choreographer with a growing reputation on the world stage. He’s responsible for the cheeky short program and the emotional free skate that put Kirsten Moore-Towers and Dylan Moscovitch squarely in the mix as a top world team last season, and others, such as Emanuel Sandhu, Richard Dornbush, German pair silver medalists Mari Vartman and Aaron Van Cleave, budding U.S. star Karen Chen [her Jr. FS] and young Canadian virtuoso Roman Sadovsky.

At least they can't add cringeworthy voiceovers to Swan Lake.

    Or can they?

No voiceovers in Ilinykh/Katsalapov's FD (at least for now) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GeYO_...ature=youtu.be (part 1), http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3iA-6...ature=youtu.be (part 2), http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asEdxELPets (part 3) (reposted from the 'From Russia with love' thread - thanks to morqet)

Ilinykh is on two feet a lot during the beginning of the FD.
