A freezerful of these in every flavor says it's fiction.

    1)

What would it take for me to believe in the reality of alien encounters:

    an actual alien encounter
    or
just an awful lot of gelato?

    2)

shockingly undignified moments in the history of skating:

    - Yuka Sato's refusal to take her spot on the 1994 Worlds podium, in protest that as many as four of the judges wanted to give the title to Bonaly.
    - Michelle Kwan's ear-splitting scream at the start of her straight-line step sequence in the free skate at 2003 Worlds.
    - Jeremy Abbott's depiction of Pope Alexander VI in his Saint-Saens FS at 2010 US Nats, in which he conveyed the true nature of His Voluptuary Holiness by swiping some ice from a skate blade and smearing it across his face.
    - Torvill and Dean's outrageously offensive "Australian Aboriginal" dance, costuming, and makeup at the 1984 Winter Olympics, which, even more shockingly, gained them a row of perfect sixes for presentation.
    - John Curry's "Sex Bomb" exhibition in 1976 at Innsbruck.
    - Sonja Henie's attempt to sabotage one of her competitors by "tipping off" a Nazi German border guard about a supposed thief trying to enter the country. (Oh, wait, that might very well have happened.)
    - Emmerich Danzer having his nearest Austrian rival kneecapped after a practice session at 1968 Euros. A truly bizarre film about the incident and its aftermath, Attack of the Five-Ten Men, starring Anthony Hopkins as Danzer and Nicol Williamson as Wolfgang Schwarz, was released in July 1969 to an audience of dozens. Blink and you'll miss John Cazale in mid-spin as Peggy Fleming (that man could do anything) and Christopher Bowman's screen debut as Baby Emmerich.
    - Elvis Stojko's truly weird "Tribute to Viviana Durante" FS at 1995 Worlds. It was fine, I guess, but tossing a pile of roses at the judges as if he were Durante's Aurora and the judges her doting parents was pandering at its very worst.
