Omigosh, I took a quiz on Sporcle less than an hour ago (after years away from that site). (20/21 and in the 63rd percentile, btw.)

Note to self: Get a hold of a copy of How to Think about Weird Things.

It's often fascinating. Not a sexual turn-on, though.

Are there any large framed paintings in your room/flat/house that belong to you?
I hear outside a million panicking birds, and know even out there comfort is done with; it has shattered even the stars, this creature at last come home to me.

    1) Jay Carney, I suppose, though Mike McCurry is the only one for whom I've ever had a soft spot.
    2) Weiner, as I don't think that Morris' career requires him to come back from anything at this point.

People for whom April 29 had/has to have meant something:

    Henri Poincaré
    Constantine Cavafy
    Duke Ellington
    Celeste Holm
    Zubin Mehta
    Phillip Noyce
    Jerry Seinfeld
    Carnie Wilson
    Andre Agassi
    Uma Thurman

ETA: I included Carnie Wilson, but not Daniel Day-Lewis. Unreal.

That's right - a pioneering and innovative film in terms of the development of film making as an art form, which was completely brought down and wasted on a highly racist and reprehensible story. A very bizarre concoction. Gish was one of the greatest actresses of the silent era and it's a shame that her most notable role was in something so controversial.

    Humphrey Bogart

Warren Beatty in Splendor in the Grass or Bonnie & Clyde or Shampoo or reds?
