It's like someone said about Orser and Boitano, respectively. One was the best on the ice, the other in the air. This morning, I feel like rewarding the pure artistry and skating skills--albeit without any display of edges whatsoever--of Snoopy over Peppermint Patty's accomplished competitive routine. That spread eagle.

    Best spread eagles:

    Curry
    Boitano
    Cassar
    Kozuka
    Buttle
    or
    _______?

Who would have won the 1980 Olympic title had Curry carried on for another quad - Curry or Cousins?

Due to an advantage in the compulsory figures, I think Curry would've carried on as the first-ranked British skater internationally. He might have had to worry just as much about Jan Hoffmann (artistic limitations aside) or a healthy Vladimir Kovalev (to act like a Back to the Future-obsessed ten-year-old and bring the whole space-time continuum into this) as about the gifted Cousins.

Do you ever feel that Cranston was more deserving of Olympic silver in 1976 than Kovalev was?

Yes, and I have plenty of good information and arguments with which to justify that feeling.
Yes, but it's just a hunch/bit of wistfulness.
No, you malicious crone (and it's not like you're a big Cranston fan to begin with, so WTH? ).
No, Kovalev was just that good.
    I really don't care.
purple Kubicka's backflip was more interesting than either skater.
purple As results for Canadians go, Ron Shaver's withdrawal after the SP (in which he was third) dismays me far more.

Lack of data, so for the timebeing - purple mushroom fantasy

Should there be another film in the Chronicles of Narnia series - yes or no?

If they do make another Narnia film, which should it be - The Magicians Nephew or The Silver Chair?

    1) Only if it can be as good as the first film (or the third, if that was any good...I dunno).

If Jane Eyre was Charlotte Bronte's best novel, which was the second best - Shirley or Villette or The Professor?

If I only had some speedy, ocean-crossing Volturi horse, I could get this question to orientalplane in no time at all.

To me Villette was her best novel, Jane Eyre next. Shirley is simplistic and The Professor a bit dull.

Shelley's Ode to the West Wind or Keats' Ode to a Nightingale?

ETA: f_d, you must have stirred some feeling in me by a mysterious force. However, I'm sure you could have answered equally well yourself.
