    1) I was going to choose Six Ars for the weird title but clicking on that link just takes me to a list with Six Years on it instead. I'll choose that one anyway.
    2) Chen's La Mer.

    Six Ars:

    - a murder mystery involving a group of Latinists

    Spoiler

    - an adventure story about colorful 17th-century pirates transplanted to the sobersides 1990s, in which time they're forced to pare down their idiosyncrasies and take amusement park jobs
    - the Marquis de Sade meets Sarah Waters meets E. L. James meets William T. Vollmann
    - fresh out of the Army, a nice white lady teaches the supposedly unteachable at the Dalton School in New York

    Shishkova/Naumov, though I preferred watching Kovarikova/Novotny

Of the four parts of Gulliver's Travels, which do you find makes you most amused/angry/interested/moved

    1. Lilliput
    2. Brobdingnag
    3. Laputa, Balnibarbi, Luggnagg, Glubbdubdrib, and Japan
    4. The Country of the Houyhnhnms

    Me, too.

I haven't read Gulliver's Travels (and I hope no one reading this will be knocked down by that disclosure), but I'm almost certain that Part IV would amuse, interest, and move me the most.

Does an affectionately written email mean as much to you as a handwritten note from the same person and with exactly the same content?

With a few years' preparation, yes. Could I finish in the upper 90% as far as shortest possible times go? Never.

    more fun:

    walking briskly
    or
    slowly?

    yes

ETA: walking briskly. Actually, I walk extremely fast naturally and inadvertently leave people in the dust all the time.

Should ISU institute a mandatory "Compulsory" program similar to those used in gymnastics 1996 and prior?
