It was my first experience with getting into a serial and having them cancel it before things were resolved. It really killed something inside me. I will rarely watch a tv show now in the first season if it's one with an ongoing storyline like that. I wait to see if it's going to take off and stay around.

My So Called Life is one of my favourite shows of all time. I've probably watched it in its entirety at least a dozen times. A shame there are only 19 episodes

A good rant is cathartic. Ranting is what keeps me sane. They always come from a different place. Take the prime minister, for example. Sometimes when I rant about him, I am angry; other times, I am just severely annoyed - it's an important distinction. - Rick Mercer

    Firefly.

Starcops- a British series from the late 80s which only had 9 episodes. Pity- it was excellent.
I know. But I do not approve. And I am not resigned.

And since so many people are saying Firefly, I'll be different and say Dollhouse. I know the show had some issues, but there was some good stuff in it too. (I had a total geek crush on Topher. )

What network was that on? It sounds familiar.

I was really sad about Freaks and Geeks and Pan Am. I wish they had given each at least another season.

Rome as a show was okay BUT for man eye candy was fabulous.

This is going back a long time, but there used to be a show called Homefront that I loved.

Criminal Minds:Suspect Behavior - they ended it after 13 episodes on a freaking CLIFFHANGER. That's just cruel. There's no reason they couldn't have made one 1 more show or not shown that episode knowing it was going to be canceled.

Part of me is relieved that it died before it got a chance to suck. This way, it will always be perfect.

    ABC.

Since there's so much My So Called Life love here, I'm surpirsed there's no mention of Once and Again, which I felt was pretty much like a grown up version of MSCL. I thought it was amazing, and although it lasted 3 seasons, it was given the boot with even less ceremony that MSCL. So much was left unresolved, and to add to the insult, TPTB are holding season 3 hostage so that it's never been available on DVD and might never be.

    Veronica Mars!!!

Thank god for fans, because with fan funding (more than double their goal!) a movie has been greenlit to film this summer and release next year. Fans will finally get to see what happens. Plus: LOGAN!!!

    Life (with Damian Lewis)

And the one where Christian Slater plays some uber-spy that has a regular guy alter ego, and the two ended up mixing. I forget the name of it, but it only lasted one season and I really thought it was an interesting concept.

Yes. However, I'm also okay with it not continuing, because it seemed to be setting it up for Angela to dump Jared Leto Jordan Catalano for un-hot guy Brian. And that would just NOT work for me.

I loved Homefront, great show! That is the first time I remember seeing John Slattery - now I get him on Mad Men. Always thought he was so handsome. And the show gave us Kyle Chandler!

I also agree with those who mentioned Dark Angel, The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Nowhere Man, and Now And Again. Loved all of those shows, and have most of them on DVD.
