My picks are MITIM at SLC and a vote for "other" meant for Gladiator 2002 at QR at World 2002 in Nagano - he skated it brilliantly there.

"Gladiator" at Euros 2001 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKT-vdTwqWw) was so much better, breathtaking and extremely emotional, even though it wasn't perfect.
I agree. "Gladiator" is my favorite program, but 2 favorite FP performances in Worlds and Olympics are "Lawrence of Arabia" 1999 World and MITIM 2002 Olympic. In all performances in Worlds and Olympic, I love "Revolution Étude" 2001 World the best

Why did Yags replace Broken Arrow LP with Tosca at worlds?

I always heard it was because of negative feedback from the judges for the theme.....and that they didn't like getting mowed down by a machine gun at the end of the program.

Well, I understand the judges - that's actually Yagudin's only programme after his switch to Tarassova which I absolutely disliked.

I like Broken Arrow more than Tosca.
I found Tosca too generic, I mean, not original, at all.

2002 Olympics and Worlds. Such passion he brought to the ice.

I love Yagudin, but to me, it's his SPs that are most electric. Winter, Nutrocker, Revolutionary Etude... So much joy and brilliance in such a short time.
As for LP's- I was too disappointed at 2001 Worlds to appreciate Gladiator. It is probably a better program, but I go with MITIM for the memory. I'll say Olympics for the same reason, though Worlds was terrific as well.

Racing was on the list as one of my most enjoyable Yagudin programs too.
