I spent half a day in Holt Renfrew in Toronto. I had never been in one before. That's one nice store, and somehow the expense and exclusivity is more welcoming than in Neiman Marcus in DC.
However, since what I really needed was a good pair of snow boots, we headed down the mall (those underground tunnels are a good idea ) and found some at Bay? Is that right? Nice store, more middling, good boots on sale.
My companion did get sidetracked by the salesman selling Tom Ford perfume at Holt Renfrew and before I knew it I had a bottle of Plum Japonais.
