    Exhibition in Novi, Michigan of Shpilband's dance teams (includes some videos)

    The Novi, Michigan Ice Arena rink held an exhibition on Friday, March 1st - this is a local article that listed 8 international dance teams that were scheduled to perform:
    Madison Chock/Evan Bates (USA), Anna Cappellini/Luca Lanotte (ITA), Ekaterina Riazanova/Ilia Tkachenko (RUS), Isabella Tobias/Deividas Stagniunas (LTU), Justyna Plutowska/Peter Gerber (POL), Pernelle Carron/Lloyd Jones (FRA), Siobhan Heekin-Canedy/Dmitri Dun (UKR), Cathy Reed/Chris Reed (JPN).

    So Bazarova/Larionov are with Shpilband now for the training at least till the worlds, there where the possibility of this mentioned during the interview with Kudriyatsev. I guess the long term staying on this will be decided after the worlds.

    B&L looked really solid in that send off vid. You can't see the landing of his toe, or the throw jump, but based on the applause it didn't seem like either were a major problem. I liked the flow from what I could see of the footwork sequence.

    T&S actually looked better than I think I've ever seen them, and the program was less obnoxious than I was expecting.

    Carron&Jonezzz continue to only be able skate only half a solid FD however. Switching the placement of the third lift and the spin would help the balance of the program, IMO.
