    Kind of random: size 3T

Does anyone have size 3T pajama pants they can measure for me?

I need to know the inseam (crotch to hem) and also the crotch to waist measurement.

I made a pair of pants for one of my nephews (have a few more to go) and they just look big. I'm hoping to avoid a trip into town to find a store where I can measure pants (cause that's kind of weird)- but if no one has some on hand, I guess I'm going to have to do this.

The pants are a surprise, plus the kids live 1,000 miles away, so I can't have them just try them on.

This says a 3T has a 14 1/2 inch inseam fwiw -- we always found Lands' End stuff to fit nicely.

Don't feel bad if they're big. The kids can grow into them.

They are for Christmas Day though.

Based on 14.5" inseam, I was right, way too big. Off to cut a few inches off the hem. I found another site that says 21" out seam, so I might take an inch off the top too. I suspect they'll fit baggy, but they are "loungewear" so that's okay.

They could always roll up the cuffs. I think it's awesome that you're making the clothes.
