I think it's a movie that works better on the small screen because it needs intimacy. Plus, for me, it was too close to home (lots of mental illness in my family and I grew up outside of Philly). I think I'll like it better the second time around (because Mini-Mac will undoubtably make us buy it and then watch it over and over and over so there will be a second time) because I heard it grows on you and I find that believable. I think if I could have made wise-cracks while I watched it, I would have enjoyed it a LOT more but I couldn't do that in the movie theater. Originally Posted by Allskate

I think it is certainly possible, she has time on her side but I don't think she has the talent Meryl has. Maybe she can get there some day. However, I feel this year was a rather weak field for the ladies. Nothing against any of them but I don't think any of these performances would have won in most years. I could see this being a one time win or the first of many. Who knows! I think, for her, it will be all about picking the right roles. Originally Posted by Cachoo
